At the May 14, 2026 Board meeting, the Board deemed that Police Officer Trustee candidates Kenneth Haben and incumbent Michael Taglienti meet the qualifications of Article 6243a-1 Section 3.01 (b-1) (1) to be elected as a Trustee. Please click on the candidate’s name for more information.
Only active Police Officer members are eligible to vote in the Police Officer Trustee election.
Voting packets for the Police Officer Trustee election will be mailed on June 15 to active members’ home addresses or emailed to active members who have elected eCorrespondence. Voting begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16 and ends at 12 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, June 30.
The election is being conducted on behalf of DPFP by YesElections, an independent firm that specializes in such elections. DPFP has no access to the counting of votes and receives all final reporting directly from YesElections. Ballots will be tallied by YesElections and results will be posted on www.dpfp.org Thursday, July 2. Election results will be certified by the DPFP Board of Trustees at the Regular Board Meeting on July 9. The new Trustee term will run for three years, beginning on September 1, 2026.
